John Deere Golf expands mower line
Just in time for the spring golf season, John Deere Golf has added PrecisionCut, a new line of fairway reel mowers, and TerrainCut, a new line of multi-terrain rotary-cut mowers.
Nanonails enable electrically tunable surfaces
With a surface composed of tightly packed nanostructures that resemble tiny nails, thus the term "nanonails," University of Wisconsin-Madison engineers and their colleagues from Bell Laboratories have created a material that can repel almost any liquid. But with a jolt of electricity, the liquid on the surface slips past the heads of the nanonails and spreads out between their shanks, wetting the surface completely.
USB-based analyzer
SPI Xpress is a high-speed SPI (serial peripheral interface) exerciser/analyzer for debug, analysis, programming, and testing of chips and electronic boards from Saelig. The tool works on various serial interfaces, including three-wire with bidirectional data line, all at up to 50 Mbit/s data rate for cycle-accurate operation and zero latency between accesses.
